Heavy rains fall in Louisville. Other storm waves arriving on a cold front are still in the west. They could be hours away.

Tweeted by Governor Andy Beshear: “Governor Beshear has declared a state of emergency due to extensive tornado damage in several western Kentucky counties. He has activated the @kentuckyguard and the @kystatepolice. The governor will provide an update with @KentuckyEM officials at 5 am EST in Frankfort. ”
