CLEVELAND (WJW)– Most areas will get 9 to 12 inches of snow Thursday in Northeast Ohio.

Many schools have already closed and parking bans are in effect across Northeast Ohio.

Here is a look at all crashes on the interstates from OHGO:

  • Expect lane closures on I-80/I-90 West beyond SR-4 to SR-53, due to a crash.
  • Expect lane closures on I-80/I-90 West beyond Baumhart Rd to US-250, due to a crash.
  • Expect lane closures on I-71 North beyond SR-303 to SR-82/Royalton Rd, due to a crash.

Franklin County is under a Level 1 snow emergency.

6:05 a.m.

A snow plow was involved in an accident on 480 E at the State Rd exit ramp. Don’t crowd the plow.

Wayne County is at a level 1 snow emergency.

Speed ​​limits have been reduced on I-90 in Lake County.

ODOT reports more than 1,000 crews are clearing the roads across Ohio.

FirstEnergy has just over 700 power outages, the bulk in Cuyahoga County.

11 p.m. update:

FirstEnergy is reporting more than 3,200 customers still without power in Cuyahoga County. Most of those are in Cleveland. Power has been restored for most customers in Medina County, according to FirstEnergy.

10:15 p.m. update:

Huron and Sandusky counties have moved to Level 2 snow emergencies, and Erie County has moved to a Level 2 winter weather road condition advisory. Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow and/or icy conditions.

8:50 p.m. update:

There are about 3,100 FirstEnergy customers without power in Medina County. Nearly all of the outages are in Brunswick.

Erie County is under a Level 1 winter weather road condition advisory. Roadways are hazardous. Use caution.

Sandusky County is under a Level 1 snow emergency. Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy.

7:15 p.m.:

The FirstEnergy power outage in Cuyahoga County is down to 3,100 customers. Cleveland Public Power continues to make repairs on the west side.

6:40 p.m. update:

The Akron Municipal Court will be closed on Thursday. No hearings, including arraignments, will be held. Those impacted will be contacted about rescheduling once the court reopens.

Cleveland Public Power says its crews are working as quickly as possible to restore service during a west side outside. “We are told it shouldn’t be much longer.”

Stow City Hall offices will be closed on Thursday. Willoughby Municipal Court will also be closed.

More than 6,300 FirstEnergy customers are without power in Cuyahoga County. Nearly all of those are in Cleveland, with a few scattered in Euclid and University Heights.

5:40 p.m. update:

The Cleveland Institute of Art will close at 6 pm Wednesday and remain closed on Thursday.

5:15 p.m. update:

Rocky River City School District and Fairview Park City Schools will be closed on Thursday. As will Revere Local School District.

5 p.m. update:

Akron Public Schools announced it is canceling all classes and activities on Thursday because of inclement weather.

4:55 p.m. update:

FirstEnergy is reporting more than 6,300 customers without power in Cuyahoga County, as of 4:55 pm Most of those customers are in Cleveland. Power is expected to be returned to most customers by 8 pm

4:38 p.m. update:

The Greater Cleveland Aquarium will be closed Thursday. The aquarium team working hard to keep aquatic systems going during a multi-hour power outage on Wednesday.

4:30 p.m. update:

Greater Cleveland Food Bank canceled its distribution in the Muni Lot on Thursday due to inclement weather.

Parma Municipal Court will be closed on Thursday.

Because of the looming winter storm, the Cleveland Orchestra is rescheduling its Thursday performance of “Jeremy Denk Plays Adams” to Friday at 7:30 pm
