Joe Gorga went off on an unhinged rant about his fragile relationship with sister Teresa Giudice at BravoCon on Saturday.
During a “Real Housewives of New Jersey” panel moderated by Page Six’s Evan Real, a fan asked whether the reality star and his wife, Melissa Gorga, ever hesitated to join the show – given that Giudice was already a castmate on the series.
The Bravo fan questioned whether it was wise to join a reality series “that is centered on conflict,” arguing, “There was family drama prior to you joining.”
Melissa attempted to answer the question, explaining that she and Joe made the decision together and that, despite rumours, “Teresa 100 percent knew, it was never behind her back.”
But before she could continue, her husband leaped to his feet to give an impassioned defense of their decision to become Bravolebrities – and apparently criticized his sister for not welcoming them into the franchise.
“This is the s–t that pisses me off,” he yelled while standing at the edge of the stage.
Gorga, who has operated several businesses, compared the casting to working a job in construction, saying “[If I] built this building and I have a cousin that does electrical [then] I’m giving you a job.”
“Not that we are being in competition,” he said. “F-k that. We’re family.”
“I am tired of hearing that bulls–t,” he reiterated. “Because you know what? If you love each other, right? And we’re family, you help one another rise.”
The siblings’ relationship appears estranged at the moment as the Gorgas did not attend Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louis” Ruelas after an explosive fight broke out while filming the Season 13 finale of the Bravo series.
Tensions between the siblings have played out on the reality series for years. Clearly, Gorga has had enough.
“At this point, I just don’t know what else to say. I’m tired. I’m tired of talking about this for 13 years, ”Gorga told Page Six exclusively on Friday, referencing the many ups and downs in his relationship with Giudice.
“I’m 48 years old, and I’m happy that I woke up this morning and happy that I have healthy kids, a beautiful wife, a beautiful life, and I just want to be happy, man,” he continued. “This kind of drama is ruining my life.”
